Jury Selection Begins in Libby Trial

Jury selection continues today and for the rest of this week in the much-ballyhooed Scooter Libby trial. The former chief of staff to Vice-President Cheney is contesting five felony charges for perjury and obstruction of justice during the course of the investigation into the leak of CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson’s identity, and I will be liveblogging part of the trial after it begins as part of team coverage for the Media Bloggers Association.

While we wait for the jury to be selected, you may want to get an overview of the case by listening to this interview I did yesterday for the daily public radio program Here and Now, hosted by award-winning journalist Robin Young and produced by WBUR-FM in my old hometown, Boston.
